No more COVID-19 deaths recorded in Derry and Strabane

There have been no more recorded deaths of patients who had tested positive for COVID-19 in Derry and Strabane, according to the latest data released by the Department of Health.

However, the places of residence of three women who died on Wednesday and Thursday were unknown.

A woman, aged 60 to 79, died in hospital on Wednesday. Her post code was not listed. Two women, one aged 60 to 79, and one, aged over 80, died in hospital in Thursday. Their places of residence were not registered.

The total death toll in the district remains at 73.

Derry and Strabane has the fifth highest coronavirus death toll by local government district after Belfast (231), Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon (96), Antrim and Newtownabbey (83) and Lisburn and Castlereagh (77).
