Over 800 Derry and Strabane COVID-19 cases in a week
In total there were 804 new positive cases registered between September 28 and October 4.
Of these 353 cases were registered over the weekend: 143 on Friday; 122 on Saturday; and 88 on Sunday.

Hide AdAccording to the latest daily statistics published by the Department of Health there have been no more admissions to Altnagelvin since last Monday and at midnight on Sunday there were nine coronavirus inpatients in Western Trust hospitals.
There have now been 1,655 positive cases of the illness in Derry and Strabane since the pandemic began.
There have been more cases over the past seven days (804) than were recorded between the start of the pandemic and Sunday, September 27 (756).
The number of cases locally rose from 819 last Monday, September 29, to 1,655 yesterday - doubling in less than a week.
