Three more people admitted to Altnagelvin with COVID-19

At midnight there were 37 inpatients in Western Trust hospitals with the illness.

Between October 7 and October 13, 1,494 people tested positive in the Derry and Strabane area and the seven day rate per 100,000 is now 991.6.

The daily change in the cumulative number of patients with a positive test in Derry and Strabane between October 12 and October 13 was 222.

In total 3,546 have now tested positive for the illness in Derry and Strabane since the pandemic spread to the area.
