Three more people aged 20-39 admitted to Altnagelvin with COVID-19

Three people aged in their twenties or thirties have been hospitalised in Altnagelvin over the past few days having tested positive for COVID-19, according to the latest Department of Health statistics.

Two people aged in the 20 to 39 age category were admitted to Altnagelvin on Monday.

A further person in the same age group was admitted on Sunday.

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in the spring 290 people aged between 20 and 39 were admitted to hospitals across the north.

Ten per cent (29) of those admissions were at Altnagelvin.
