Woman, aged 60 to 79, dies in hospital in Derry/Strabane with coronavirus

Another person has sadly died with coronavirus in Derry and Strabane bringing the total death toll in the area to 83.

The woman, aged between 60 and 79, died in hospital on Wednesday, according to Department of Health figures released this afternoon.

Five people have now died with the illness in Derry and Strabane in December. Sixty-two local people have died since the start of the second wave of the pandemic in September.
