18 photographs of Derry in December 1988

The Celtic Bar senior citizens enjoyed their Christmas party, pupils dressed up to the nines for the St. Columb’s College formal, and Mike Scott brought The Waterboys to the Rialto following the release of their seminal ‘Fisherman's Blues’ record.

It was December 1988. Were you there? Here are some photographs taken by the ‘Journal’ back in the day.
