Sept 1961. Group taken prior to their departure for Brighton of four young Derry swimmers who will represent the city at the Infantile Paralysis Fellowship's annual swimming championships. The Mayoress, Mrs. GS Glover, was at Waterside Station to see them off and is seen centre with, on her left, Pat Creggan and Carol O'Bryan and, on her right, Gerald Boyle and Pauline Kearney.
