The night Derry City broke Gretna hearts!

Thursday, August 10, 2006. A night of European football to remember. A lethal Derry City FC all but assured their place in the first round proper of the Uefa Cup with a crushing 5-1 victory over Gretna at Motherwell’s Fir Park. The Candystripes travelled to Scotland with an army of supporters and, as these photos from the Derry Journal archives show, it really was a trip to remember!
