Derry’s Brunswick and Omniplex cinemas confirm reopenings over the coming days
Brunswick Moviebowl has confirmed it will be reopening its doors this Friday, July 17, following on from the bowling alley, restaurant and café at the complex reopening for the first time in months on Tuesday of this week.
Meanwhile the city centre Omniplex will reopen on Friday, July 24.

Hide AdIn a statement released on its Facebook page, the owners of Brunswick Moviebowl in Pennyburn announced: “The wait is over... The big screen is back - Friday 17th July!
“To welcome you back we’ve put together a schedule with the newest family movies as well as some all-time classics for children of all ages.”
Meanwhile the Omniplex cinema on Strand Road is set to reopen next Friday, July 24.
In a statement confirming the date, the owners said: “As we work towards the safe re-opening of our cinema, we’ve implemented some new measures to ensure you have a safe cinema trip.

Hide Ad“These include pre-booking your tickets online, in-cinema seat separation (our system will automatically lock empty seats around your group), hand sanitising stations and enhanced screen cleaning.”
