Friday's Child - Eoghan McBride

This week's Friday's Child is Eoghan Mac Giolla Bhrighde / Eoghan Mc Bride. Eoghan, from Gaoth Dobhair now living in Letterkenny, has been involved in theatre for many years, either threading the boards, behind the scenes (set building, directing and youth drama facilitation etc.). He has done television, film, radio and voiceover work. He is looking forward to performing for the first time in the Millennium Forum as The Bogside Spinster in Brian Foster's upcoming play.

Desperate.

Dressing up.

Door-mat. / A Go-for.

Misery.

Loose Women.

A vacant expression.

Favourite method of relaxation?

Talking to my Budgie / Going to a good comedy in the theatre, hint hint.

Anywhere would be nice.

Nobody in particular.

What makes you angry?

Being upstaged / Bad theatre.

What makes you happy?

Entertaining people / Good theatre.

What human quality do you most admire?

Selfless and humble / Not being a Diva.

Vanity and Arrogance / Being a Diva, big headed gits.

What has been the most embarrassing thing to happen to you?

You will witness the most embarrassing thing to happen to me in the Millennium Forum on the 16th-19th of November.

What was the worst thing to happen to you in your life?

Getting dumped, many times.

What is your greatest fear?

To be a spinster all my life / To blank on stage.

What has been the high point of your life to date?

My script for the Bogside Spinster.

Get a make-over. / Book myself in for a dam good service.

To understand women. / Wish that I had nothing to wish for.
