Colr. Cooper said: “I have been lobbying the Housing Executive for some time now to carry out a window replacement scheme to their properties in the Ballymagroarty area. I was very pleased that this had led to confirmation from the Housing Executive that a window replacement scheme involving 425 homes would start in May 2020.

“This work has subsequently been delayed by the coronavirus, but I have continued to lobby for the scheme to go ahead and I am delighted to now confirm that surveys of tenants’ properties will begin in November with a view towards the full scheme beginning in late spring 2021. I will provide further details to residents as I receive updates from the Housing Executive. If anyone has any further queries they should feel free to contact me.
