41 pictures from the last Maritime Festival in Derry

Here we share some of the people and the scenes photographed for the Derry Journal by photographer George Sweeney the last time the Foyle Maritime was staged in Derry back in 2018.

The festival returns to Derry’s quayside in less than three weeks, from Wednesday, July 20 to Sunday July 25 2022.

The Clipper Road the World Yacht race crews are expected to arrive prior to the festival.
