Cullen’s Funfair returning to Derry this week

The popular Cullens FunFair will be making a return to Derry this week with special COVID restrictions in place throughout the fair.

The amusements will be setting up at the back car park of the Ebrington complex, and is due to open this Friday, September 11.

In a post on the company’s Facebook page, Cullens stated: “Cullens amusements presents 19 hand picked socially distance suitable attractions including Big wheel for our next venue from Friday September 11 to Sunday September 20.”

The fair will be open on weekdays from 5pm till 10pm and on Saturdays and Sundays from 1pm till 9pm.

Cullen’s Funfair has been a popular attraction over the years and has been a feature of Derry’s festival calendar for years.

The fair had been set up in Buncrana last month but had to cut its stay short after new restricions from the Irish government limited outdoor gatherings and events.
