Former Riverdance Principal Breandán de Gallaí will perform in Derry later this month.

But Breandán de Gallaí says when he brings his own show ‘Linger’ to the Millennium Forum next month, it will be like returning to his artistic home.

Taking time out from a hectic production schedule this week. Breandan told the ‘Journal’ he was hopeful he might see a few familiar faces when during the show’s run in Derry.

“I’m a past pupil of Mary Soal and Mary was a massive influence on me,” he said.

“I would have taken part in competitions in Derry and the Irish dancing community there was almost like an extended family. It would be lovely to see some of that gang at the show.”

Breandán’s ground-breaking theatrical experience received stellar reviews and sell out success at home and at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2016, and is now back with an eight venue tour across Ireland,

It will be performed in the Millennium Forum on March 14 and 15. Contact the Millennium Forum Box Office for ticket information and show times.
