In compliance with restrictions this year, limiting large groups working together, St. Eugene’s Cathedral will not be staging its annual Passion Play on Palm Sunday. Instead, four young local students, socially distanced, will present the Passion of our Lord in the form of readings, reflections and sacred music.

The production will take place this Sunday, March 28, and can be viewed on the Cathedral web cam www.steugenescathedral.com/index.html

“We advise only those who cannot watch the production on the web cam to attend the Cathedral,” a spokesperson said.

Palm Sunday, also called Passion Sunday, marks the first day of Holy Week and recalls Jesus’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem.
