Yvonne's journey as a St Mary's girl!

Sitting in the top of the range ICT suite at the Northland Road school this week, the 38-years-old recalled her own school days at the former St Mary’s site at Fanad Drive where she was a pupil before going to university in Manchester.

Yvonne’s path to teaching wasn’t a traditional one but at the end of last year she was promoted to one of the most senior positions at St Mary’s.

In an interview in tomorrow’s Derry Journal, Yvonne speaks frankly about her career and the challenges of going back to college after having her first child.
