Agreement protects against '˜bedroom tax' -McCartney
Newly re-elected Sinn Féin Foyle MLA Raymond McCartney has said people in the north will be protected from the so-called bedroom tax.
Mr McCartney said that the exemption came about as a result of the protections secured in the Fresh Start Agreement.
He said: “In recent days households may have received letters outlining a number of changes to the welfare system, including the so-called bedroom tax.
