£8,750 lottery grant for ZEST
Zest: Healing the Hurt Ltd has been granted the money to expand on the excellent work carried out by the group in the local community by increasing awareness, knowledge and understanding regarding mental health with the aim of reaching out to the most isolated, marginalized and disadvantaged people within the community.

Hide AdThe investment from the Big Lottery Fund will see the purchase of new training equipment for the charity as well the delivery of mental health training for the community and volunteers and the development of an emergency mental health booklet coupled with an app toolkit that will offer advice on dealing with Suicide and Self harm.
Conor McCafferty, the Co Director of Zest said: “We are delighted to have been awarded the funding by the Big Lottery and it will help us deliver a programme of training and education that is so vitally needed in the Western area at this moment in time”
Established in 1996 Zest, a mental health charity, was set up to provide supportive care to people suffering emotional pain and hurt. Our organisation aims to provide this through caring, kindness and acceptance.
