'˜Brilliant' new boxing gym

The new St. Joseph's ABC boxing gym will be a valuable asset to the Galliagh community when complete says Sinn Fein Councillor, Sandra Duffy.

Colr. Duffy described the image of a tower crane that is being used for the construction of the new gym as “brilliant” for the area.

“I can’t recall the last time there was a crane building something in Galliagh - it’s very exciting.

“The new gym is due to be complete by the end of next month. It’ll be a brilliant facility that the entire community will be able to use.

“Culture Minister Carál Ní Chuilín instigated this project and it will be of great benefit to the people who live here.”

Colr. Duffy added: “I am delighted to see something good happening in this area. It will be a state of the art facility once it’s complete.”
