Car set on fire in Creggan
Concerns have been raised after a car was set alight in the Creggan area at the weekend.
Sinn Féin Councillor Kevin Campbell said he hoped that this will not become a regular occurrence over the summer holiday period.
Colr Campbell said: “I was contacted by residents of Iniscarn Road tonight to say that someone set fire to a car in the lay-by there.
“I visited the scene myself and will be in contact with the council to try and get the car removed as quickly as possible.
“Let’s hope this isn’t going to be a regular occurrence over the summer.”
