Coronavirus: 24 new cases in the north brings total to 172
The Department of Health today confirmed the total of COVID-19 related deaths in the north is now five.
A patient who was in their eighties and had underlying health conditions has sadly died at Antrim Hospital.
In addition, an earlier death has also been confirmed as COVID-19 related.

Hide AdHealth Minister Robin Swann stated: “My deepest sympathies are extended to the families affected.
“These deaths must never become mere statistics. Behind each of them is a family plunged into grief.”
As of 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24, testing has resulted in 24 new positive cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the north to 172.
