Coronavirus: Three of 17 new COVID-19 deaths were of people in north-west
Three of 17 new deaths from COVID-19 confirmed by the Health Protection Surveillance Centre in Dublin tonight were of patients in the north-west.
The Health Protection Surveillance Centre was informed that 17 patients diagnosed with COVID-19 in the 26 counties have died.
Eight deaths were located in the east, 3 in the south, 3 in the north-west and 3 in the west of the country, the centre said.

Hide AdThe patients who tragically died included four females and 13 males.
The median age of today’s reported deaths is 84.
Eight patients were reported as having underlying health conditions.
There have now been 71 COVID-19 related deaths in the south and 28 in the north, with the total Irish death toll now 99.
