Man accused of assault, making threats to kill before Derry court
A man has appeared at Derry Magistrate's Court charged with a number of domestic offences including assault, making threats to kill, tampering with a motor vehicle and criminal damage to photo frames and hair extensions.
Conor Mooney (35) of no fixed abode was charged with, on September 5, two counts of assault, tampering with a motor vehicle, making threats to kill, breaching a non-molestation order and criminal damage to photo frames and hair extensions.
Police objected to bail as they believe there is a risk of reoffending and of interfering with the course of justice.
Mooney has one previous verbal report for a domestic offence last year.

Defence solicitor Paddy MacDermott said that Mooney is employed full time and is someone with 'previous good character'.
He asked for bail to be granted to an address approved by the PSNI.
District Judge Suzanne Rice called the offences 'very serious' and refused bail due to Mooney's lack of address.
He will appear again on October 1.
