Craigavon Bridge bomb alert in Derry declared elaborate hoax by PSNI and British Army Ammunition Technical Officers
A bomb alert on the Craigavon Bridge last night has been declared an elaborate hoax.
The security alert at Craigavon Bridge resulted in the key artery being closed in both directions for a period last night and this morning.
Police and British Army Ammunition Technichal Officers (ATO) examined a suspicious object and have declared it an elaborate hoax.
The object has been taken away for further examination and the bridge is now re-opened.
