Attempted murder of PSNI officers in Strabane: Man (59) arrested in terrorism probe

Detectives from the PSNI’s Terrorism Investigation Unit investigating the attempted murder of two police officers in Strabane last November have arrested a 59-year-old man.

He was arrested on Thursday in the Strabane area under the Terrorism Act and has been taken to Musgrave Serious Crime Suite for questioning.Police said they are continuing to investigate the attack on Thursday, November 17, 2022 and appealed to anyone with information to phone 101.Alternatively, information can be provided to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org
