Sinn Féin Councillor Sandra Duffy said: “I am disgusted after hearing reports that a van has been hijacked and burned this morning in Bracken Park, a mobile in Carnhill attacked and that other cars have been broken into throughout the area.

“This is nothing but wanton destruction on a hard-working community.

“My thoughts are with the delivery driver; this must have been a very frightening experience."
