Derry play park had to close after attack by vandals
A children's play park in the Top of the Hill area of Derry was forced to close temporarily after being attacked by vandals.
Criminal damage was caused to the park last Tuesday.
The PSNI said: "Waterside Neighbourhood Policing Team are appealing for information in relation to Criminal Damage being caused to the playpark in St .Brecan’s Park on the evening of Tuesday, August 11, 2020.
"This mindless act of vandalism has resulted in the Playpark being temporarily closed until repairs are carried out. If you have any information in relation to his incident, please call 101 and quote CW 917-12/08/20. Alternatively, you can call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
