Firearm brandished in Derry city centre probe : Two arrested
Police investigating an incident during which a firearm was brandished in the Fahan Street area of Derry on July 9 have arrested two men.
The pair, aged 32 and 21 remain in custody this morning.
In an earlier appeal over the incident, which reportedly happened in the early hours of Thursday morning last, Detective Sergeant Lizzie Ballantine said:
“It was reported that at approximately 12.30am an unknown male, accompanied by another male, approached a group of five people and pointed a firearm at one of the members of the group.”
