Man accused of voyeurism allegedly filmed his 10-year-old niece getting undressed
The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is charged with voyeurism, possessing an indecent image and making an indecent image.
The offences were allegedly committed between January 22 and May 8.

Hide AdDerry Magistrate’s Court heard that police had reason to attend the defendant’s address and seize a number of devices.
These were examined and it alleged there were recordings of the man’s 10-year-old niece getting undressed in a spare bedroom of his house.
The 41-year-old was arrested and allegedly admitted downloading packages containing indecent images and that he had sent images to other people.
In relation to the videos of his niece, the man allegedly said they were taken by a ‘spy camera built into a clock’.

Hide AdOpposing bail, an investigating officer said there are concerns the defendant may interfere with the investigation.
He added that police have further concerns about the protection of the public.
Defence solicitor Paddy MacDermott said his client has taken some steps to address his issues and is attending counselling.
Bail was refused and the man was remanded in custody until June 3.
