People behind 'reckless and dangerous' Dungiven shooting incident have 'nothing to offer'

Police attended the scene of the shooting at a house in the Castle Croft Drive area on Sunday.

It was reported that shots were fired at the front door of the house at around 10.10 pm. There have been no reports of any injuries as a result of this incident.

Ms. Archibald said: "This gun attack where shots were fired at the front door of a house in the Castle Croft Drive area of Dungiven was wrong and I condemn it.

"Thankfully no one was injured in this gun attack but it must have been a frightening experience for those in the area at the time of this reckless and dangerous attack.

"Those responsible for this attack have nothing to offer and need to end these futile incidents immediately."
