Significant amount of Class A drugs seized by police in Derry

A significant amount of Class A drugs have been seized during searches by the PSNI in Derry.

The drugs were recovered after police searched two properties in the city. One man has been arrested.

The PSNI said: "While on proactive patrol last night district officers arrested a male for Supplying Class A drugs. A significant amount of Class A was recovered during the initial search and in a follow up search of a property in the city more Class A drugs were found. Enquiries continue.
