An investigating officer told Derry Magistrates Court he believed he could connect the 18-year-old to the charges.

There was no objection to bail.

Jones was released on his own bail of £1,000 and banned from entering Foyleside, Quayside, the Richmond Centre and any Tesco or Boots store.

He is also banned from entering any flat in Jefferson Court without the permission of the tenant and was ordered to abide by the riles of the complex.

Jones will appear in court again on February 11.
