Video game console stolen in mugging in Bogside

A man was assaulted and had a video game console stolen in broad daylight in one of the most conspicuous parts of the city on Saturday afternoon.

The mugging took place between 1pm and 2pm on the green area above the Bogside Inn.

Police are keen to speak to two males in relation to this one described as: Approximately 27 years old, slim build, ginger hair , approximately 5ft 7" in height wearing a dark hoody and another also 27 years old, muscular build, brown hair and approximately 5ft 6" in height.

These males made off with a red CEX bag containing a PlayStation 4.

The PSNI said: "This is a well travelled route. CCTV enquiries are on going but we are asking the public to check their dash cams or if they seen anything at this time to get in contact. Ring 101 quoting: CC1196 of the 11th November 2020 if you have any information."
