Vodka stolen in house burglary
Tanya Elaine Murray, of Old City Court, pleaded guilty to the burglary of a house in Rossville Street on December 4, 2015.
Derry Magistrate’s Court heard the injured party returned home and noticed a window had been forced open.

Hide AdAll that was missing from the property was a half bottle of vodka and a scooter which belonged to Murray’s daughter.
Police went to the defendant’s home address and she made admissions.
Defence solicitor Seamus Quigley said his client had been drinking all day when she went to get her daughter’s scooter.
He said Murray climbed thgouh a broken window to get into the property.
The solicitor added the 27-year-old is ‘very embarassed and regrets’ her behaviour.
District Judge Barney McElholm suspended a two month sentence for one year.
