Window of Derry church damaged by vandal throwing plant pots

The window of a Derry church was damaged when a vandal threw plant pots at it over the Christmas period.

The incident occurred in the early hours of last Wednesday.

Police are appealing for information following the report of criminal damage at the Holy Family Church in Ballymagroarty.

Sergeant Joe McCollam said: "It was reported to police that at around 1.00 am, an unknown person threw two plant pots at the church, causing damage to a window.

"Enquiries are continuing and we would appeal to anyone with any information to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 731 of 23/12/20."
