Woman charged with murder of Darren McNally in Derry

Detectives from the PSNI’s Major Investigation Team have charged a 41-year-woman with the murder of a man in Derry.

The woman has been charged with the murder of Darren McNally (46), whose body was discovered at a house in Newbuildings on Monday, June 8.

She has also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence.

She is due to appear at Derry Magistrates’ Court today, Wednesday June 10, via video link.

As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.

The charges are in relation to the death of Mr McNally at a house in the New Buildings area of Derry.
