Woman charged with preventing lawful burial of a corpse after body of a man is discovered in Derry
A woman is to appear in court in Derry this morning charged with preventing the lawful burial of a corpse after a body was discovered in a house in the city centre at the weekend.
Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of the man whose body was found in a property in Bayview Terrace.
A 35 year old woman has been charged with a number of offences including preventing lawful burial of a corpse and fraud by false representation.
She is due to appear at Derry Magistrates Court today, Tuesday, November 24.
As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
The death of this man is not being treated as suspicious.
