Ann Marie Doherty, with a bail address in Larne, denies wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

The charge relates to an alleged incident in the Waterside area of Derry on June 30, last year.

Defence counsel Steven Mooney told Derry Crown Court this is a ‘self defence case’.

It was adjourned for two weeks to fix a trial date.

Doherty was released on continuing bail until September 9.
