Danny Boy Art Exhibition
Celebrating its 20th festival year in 2016, the Danny Boy Jazz and Blues Festival present their annual art exhibition at the Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre, Limavady from 13 May to 11 June.
As the third annual art exhibition developed as part of the music festival, this year’s show features the contemporary artwork of James Baker, David Blair, Pat Irwin, Claire Lagan, Conor Larkin, Syra Larkin, Leo O’Connor and Ethan Whitman.
The artists were asked to create new work reflecting the cultural aspects or beauty of the Causeway Coast and Glens area.
Desima Connolly, Arts & Cultural Services Officer said the free exhibition in the Keady and Broighter galleries has “grown from strength to strength, becoming a valuable addition and forerunner to the music festival”.
