Derry City prospect and son of former Mayor Elisha McCallion gets a run-out with Celtic F.C.
The son of former Mayor of Derry and Strabane, Elisha McCallion, has been called up for a trial by the Celtic Football Club in Glasgow.
Fifteen-year-old Daithí McCallion, a Tristar graduate and promising Derry City prospect, is currently in Scotland for a run-out with the famous Glasgow club.
His proud mother tweeted: "When your son is on trial at Celtic F.C. and you cant help but beam with pride!"
Daithí has previously been looked at by the Welsh football club Swansea City F.C. and has was called up to the JC Club Northern Ireland U14 panel last year.
