Derry roundabout and green areas closed to vehicles and pedestrians
The Carnhill roundabout in Derry has been closed to traffic.
"Carnhill Roundabout and surrounding green areas on the Glengalliagh Road are closed to vehicles and pedestrians alike. Diversions in place at: 1. Glengalliagh Road/ Fern Road 2. Moss Road roundabout on Glengalliagh Road 3. Carnhill leading to Carnhill Roundabout," the spokesperson said.
The PSNI said its officers were carrying out follow-up enquiries in relation to the security alert yesterday.
