Founded in Derry in 2006, Learning Pool delivers a one-stop-shop solution for organisations seeking online learning services to train their employees.

Its clients include government bodies, public sector organisations and mid-to-large corporates operating across a range of sectors.

Customers include the NHS, Jury’s Inn, and the UK Houses of Parliament.

Learning Pool, which has offices at Patrick Street in Derry, achieved the highest possible accreditation of three stars in the 2016 ‘Sunday Times’ list of Top 100 companies to work for.

Following its acquisition of Mind Click, Learning Pool will employ more than 120 people in NI and in Britain.

Sean Reddington, Mind Click’s Managing Director, is reinvesting in the expanded business and will join Learning Pool’s strategic management team, working closely with Paul McElvaney, CEO, to grow the business further including new product development and expansion into new markets.

Paul McIlvaney said: “I’m delighted to welcome Mind Click to the Learning Pool family. The company’s organic growth in recent years has been remarkable and driven by genuine innovation and customer focus. These are attributes that we share at Learning Pool and I’m confident that this acquisition will be a springboard to deliver more innovative training solutions to our clients.”

Sean Reddington added: “The combination of our two organisations will provide a compelling end-to-end learning solution for customers in a market that is growing globally”.
