Domestic violence conference joins the dots
“Connecting the dots” is a holistic look at Domestic Abuse in the city and one of a series of events organised to mark domestic abuse awareness week which runs from the 1st - 8th March 2016.
Events taking place include a coffee morning from 11-12.30 p.m. from 11-12.30, Wednesday’s conference which will be followed by a performance of the play Happy Never After, a Coffee morning & First Response Training by Ballymagroarty Community Association on March 4 and 7, and a candlelit walk across the Peace Bridge to raise awareness of domestic violence on March 8 at 7 p.m.

The conference will update the critical issues relating to domestic abuse and will bring together experts in domestic abuse specifically in relation to the North of Ireland, Service Providers, Law enforcement officers, specialist support agencies, mental health professionals and the perspective of Domestic Abuse from a female survivor.
Places are free but limited. Registration is at 9.30am complimentary lunch at 1.00pm and conference close at 3.00pm. A few places are available for related agencies to place a stall in the lobby area. For more info contact Paula on 71269327 or [email protected]
