H.E. clean up of slippery leaf strewn car park hailed

Sinn Féin Councillor Patricia Logue has thanked the Housing Executive for the prompt clean-up of a residents’ car park on Bridge Street in the city centre.

Councillor Logue said: “I was contacted by residents in Bridge Street with complaints that a car park to the rear of their homes was covered in leaves.

“It left it very dangerous for anyone leaving out their wheelie bins particularly in wet weather and for anyone getting access to their car.

“I got in touch with the Housing Executive and expressed the concerns of residents.

“So, it was good to receive news this week that a clean-up of the area had taken place.

“I would like to thank the Housing Executive for their prompt response in getting this resolved.

“Hopefully this will make it a lot safer for residents using this car park.”
