Five charged over Easter Monday parade
Five men arrested in Derry on Wednesday in connection with an Easter Monday parade in the city have each been charged with taking part in an unnotified public procession.
The PSNI confirmed on Thursday morning that the men, aged 29, 31, 42, 45 and 50 and are expected to appear before Derry’s Magistrates Court on April 25.
As is usual procedure the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
Police said the charges follow an illegal parade in Derry on Easter Monday.
