O’Brien’s GAC, Foreglen, held a fundraiser for Rossmar School in Limavady, Glenshane Care Association, and Benbradagh Resource Centre, raising £2,205 from ticket sales and the raffle on the night.
Rossmar and Benbradagh both received £400, and the remainder to Glenshane Care Centre.

Hide AdA spokesperson for the Club said: “The proceeds were split this way, as unlike Rossmar and Benbradagh, Glenshane is not fully funded. The club wanted to show their appreciation for the care and support provided to the children and young adults that attend the school and centres.”
On the special fundraising committee were Noel McFeely, Josie McFeely, Catherine McLaughlin and Seamus and Margaret Mullan.
The Mullan’s son, 35-year-old Darren, attended Rossmar and now attends Benbradagh and Glenshane Care.
“It’s a lifeline for him,” says Margaret. “If he wasn’t happy, he wouldn’t go.”
