Michelle explained why they chose to fundraise for Marie Curie.
“Marie Curie is a cause close to all of our hearts. There are five of us - myself, Naomi Duffy, Hayley Walker, Roberta Purdy and Linda McIlmoyle - and we have all been affected by cancer,” said Michelle.
“It’s a way to give back and say ‘thank you’. This is our second year holding the event and, last year, we raised more than £2,000.”

Marie Curie provides “care and support for people living with any terminal illness, and their families”.
The charity said they have been been “carrying out this vital work for over 65 years – last year alone we cared for over 40,000 people across the UK”.
