Entry for adults is £7, for children (under 16) it is £3. There is a family fee of £17 which covers the cost two adults and two children.

“Entry fee only covers the cost of the putting on the event, so any extra pounds you can spare will go towards helping people living incredibly tough lives, both here at home and across the world’s poorest communities,” said Mr. Coyle.

“Pick a distance, from 1, 3 or 6 miles, to walk, jog or run either with mates, as a family, or simply with everyone you’ll meet on the day. Valley Running club is providing the folks of Limavady with a great family day out. They are providing live music and two large inflatables for the kids. Afterwards music is provided by Limavady Big Band. Valley Running club are looking forward to seeing all of your family at the Limavady sports relief event. Come and raise much needed money and have an enjoyable fun day out in the park.”

All runners/walkers will receive a medal as they cross the finish line.

“It’s not a timed event. It’s all about the doing something achievable and having fun while raising money for a great cause. We are very proud of hosting this event and we would ask everyone to come along and support a great cause.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank the local Leisure Centre for all their support in the build up to the event and for providing us with free use of the sports hall for registration.”
