A car was set on fire in Galliagh on Tuesday.

Local Sinn Fein Councillor, Sandra Duffy, described the incident as an “outrage”.

“This is an outrage once again on our community with anti-community elements wrecking peoples’ hard earned property,” said Colr. Duffy.

“I was at the scene and I have contacted council to have the car removed.

“It is absolutely ridiculous that local children had to pass the burnt out car on their way to work and school,” she added.
