Hopkins invited toelectoral office talks
Derry & Strabane Council's Strategic Planning Committee has invited the new Northern Ireland Office (NIO) Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State to a forthcoming meeting to discuss the future of local electoral offices across the North.
Earlier this year NIPSA raised concerns about the potential closure of offices following the announcement of a restructuring review by the Electoral Office.
The SDLP’s John Boyle said the sooner the meeting occurs the better.
